Seed rates on moulds
If sown on moulds, 5 to 6 seeds are planted at a spacing of 2 metres between rows and 2 metres within rows and then thinned to 2 or 3 plants after emerging. Seeds are placed 3 to 4cm (1.5 inches) deep into the soil.
